The traditional annual 84th scientific-practical conference "Agrarian science to the North Caucasus Federal District" was held at the Stavropol State Agrarian University

The Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted the annual 84th Regional Scientific and Practical Conference "Agrarian Science - the North Caucasus Federal District", the main purpose of which was to discuss and review the results of research obtained over the past year; They talked about the importance of scientific discoveries and achievements, without which it is impossible to imagine the development of a modern agro-industrial complex.Stavropol State Agrarian University is the flagship of agrarian science not only in the North Caucasus Federal District, but also in the Russian Federation as a whole. Science and research are the foundation of the University.

In 2018, by the order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, the Stavropol State Agrarian University carried out research, development and technological works to ensure the state needs of the Stavropol Territory in the amount of 80 million rubles. Our material base and highly qualified faculty allow in 2019 to implement and perform research for 160 million rubles!

· Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Oleinikov Andrey Yuryevich,

· Deputy Minister of Education of the Stavropol Territory Zhirnov Denis Olorovich.

The plenary session was opened by the Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honored Scientist, Deputy of the Duma of the Stavropol Territory, Hero of Labor of Stavropol, Honorary Citizen of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev.

Then the speech was given by Vladimir Nikolayevich Sitnikov, Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol, who noted the great contribution of regional scientists to the development of the national agro-industrial complex.

According to Vladimir Sitnikov, the guarantor of the development of the industry is the consistent agrarian policy of the federal center, focused on the development of existing industries and the implementation of new projects. As the Minister noted, the key to success in animal husbandry are the latest scientific developments, modern technological solutions, which allow revealing the genetic potential of animals. And those farms that use the scientific approach in their work are profitable both in milk, wool and meat. The introduction of advanced technologies allowed increasing the production of poultry meat more than 5 times, pork meat 4 times. The productivity increased by 2 times per dairy cow.

2. Nazarenko Anton Vladimirovich,Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Department of ManagementTrends in the development of the market of grape-making products of the agro-industrial complex of Russia.

3. Gromov Evgeny Ivanovich,Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Economic Security, Statistics and Econometrics Information and analytical support of management processes for sustainable development of rural areas in the conditions of digitalization of the national economy.

4. Ivolga Anna G., Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism and Service Innovative aspects of sustainable development of rural areas of the Stavropol region through the realization of recreational potential.

5. Pismennaya Elena Vyacheslavovna, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Land Management and Cadastre Organization of sustainable development of agricultural land use based on agro-resource potential (on the example of the Stavropol Territory)
