A student of the Stavropol State Agrarian University performed in the semifinals of the All-Russian masterful tournament in boxing class "A" (the highest category) n.a. Popenchenko

In Magadan, battles took place as part of the All-Russian masterful tournament in boxing class "A" (the highest category) named after Popenchenko. The competition was attended by athletes from all over Russia, including Stavropol.

The city was represented by a 3rd year student of the Accounting and Financial Faculty of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Mikhail Aznavoryan. Boxer reached the semifinals, and took the honorable third place on the podium. Michael is trained by a teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sport of the Stavropol State Agrarian University - Vyacheslav Sergeevich Lychagin (master of sports in boxing and master of sports in kickboxing).
