Stavropol Territory The VII district open scientific-practical conference of schoolchildren “SCIENCE. CREATION. YOUTH". was held on the basis of the secondary school № 12 in Krasnogvardeiskoye. A total of 85 works were announced.
The participants of the conference were schoolchildren of the Krasnogvardeysky district: Gymnasium No. 1, secondary schools No. 2, 5, 6, 7, 12.
Associate Professor of the Department of general agriculture, plant growing and breeding A.S. Golub and Associate Professor of the Department of agricultural chemistry and plant physiology O.Yu. Lobankova participated in the judging of the contest entries. They estimated the students papers according to the results of experimental and research activities in ecological and biological areas.
The conference program included the work of the sections on the following nominations: ecological and biological; socio-humanitarian and physical-mathematical.
Pupils of grades 8-11 represented works in the ecological and biological nomination on the following topics: “Introduction of the No-Till technology with the aim of preserving soil fertility and increasing the efficiency of agricultural production in various soil-climatic zones of the village. Medvezhensky", "The effect of various conditions on the growth and development of yeast", "Geological processes with one’s own hands", "The study of the struggle for existence between fungi", "The biological mechanism of odors", "The use of siderats to improve soil fertility" and many others.
