An interactive lesson dedicated to the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship was held at the Faculty of Economics of Stavropol State Agrarian University. It was conducted by the Head of the Export Support Center of the Regional Fund for the Support of Entrepreneurship, Mikulenko Tatyana Vasilyevna, and the Head of the Stavropol City Center for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Litvinova Olga Dmitrievna. The event was organized for students of the direction "Economics" of 1-4 courses, profiles "World Economy" and "Economics of Enterprises and Organizations" by lecturers of the Department of Entrepreneurship and the World Economy.
Export development is one of the most important modern trends in improving business activities, which is determined by the May decree of the President of the Russian Federation “On the national goals and strategic objectives of the development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024”. Therefore, a master class from one of the leading experts in the field of foreign economic activity - Head of the Export Support Center of the Regional Fund for the Support of Entrepreneurship, Mikulenko Tatyana Vasilyevna, was relevant, meaningful and very interesting.
First of all, Tatyana Vasilyevna explained why the sphere of foreign economic activity is important for many entrepreneurs, what opportunities and reserves exist for its development, what numerous competences in the field of organization of foreign trade are in demand in the labor market today and can be an important competitive advantage for graduates tomorrow.
In the lesson of professional skill, students were introduced to many non-standard situations encountered during export operations and the conclusion of foreign trade contracts, and the peculiarities of doing business in a number of foreign countries. Tatyana Vasilyevna invited our students to undergo an internship at the Export Support Center, described the opportunities for future employment.
The head of the Stavropol city center for the development of small and medium-sized businesses Litvinova Olga Dmitrievna - a graduate of our university in the specialty "World Economy" - spoke about her career, the work of the Center, invited start-up entrepreneurs to cooperate.
The interactive lesson contributed not only to the development of students' competencies in the sphere of foreign economic relations, but also contributed to their further professional orientation, and a deeper understanding of entrepreneurial activity.
