At the Agrarian University, volunteers summed up the spring series of the board game “In the footsteps of monopoly”

Volunteers of the volunteer student group “Financier” under the guidance of the staff of the Department of Financial Management and Banking summed up the spring series of the board game “Following the monopoly” held during the implementation of the regional program “Increasing the financial literacy of the population of the Stavropol Territory and the development of financial education in the Stavropol Territory ".

The goal of the tournament is to increase the financial literacy and intellectual potential of the youth of the Stavropol Territory to manage their personal financial resources. This is not just a board game, it is a whole world that helps explain complex financial concepts, interest young people and give them the opportunity to practice their personal budget management. In the competition, participants were able to get acquainted in an entertaining way with various types of investments, form the ability to compare different types of investments among themselves and calculate income for different types of financial instruments (stocks, bonds, deposits and shares), work out a setting for diversifying personal investments, form the ability to determine risks associated with the use of investments and take into account the interests of other players in the format of competition, cooperation and cooperation.

From February to May 2019, more than 380 children from Aleksandrovsky, Andropovsky, Apanasenkovsky, Budennovsky, Georgievsky, Novoselitsky, Predgorny, Sovietsky, Shpakovsky districts and the city of Stavropol took part in the tournament. At the end of each game, the winners were identified, who were given souvenirs from the regional Ministry of Finance.

According to the 4th year student of the Accounting and Finance Faculty, Valeria Rudomanova, with the start of the new school year, volunteers are ready to continue the tournament of their favorite game for the youth of Blagodarnensky, Grachevsky, Krasnogvardeisky, Kurskoy, Stepnovsky and Trunovsky districts of the Stavropol region.
