University students visited the interactive excursion “The End of World War II. Stavropol residents - participants of the first Victory Parade "

In the Stavropol State Historical, Cultural and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve named after G.N. Prospositreva and G.K. The right on the basis of the exhibition “Battle Glory of Stavropol” is an interactive tour on the topic: “The end of the Great Patriotic War. Stavropol residents - participants of the first Victory Parade. ” The university students were able to attend the event.

Through memoirs, books, personal belongings of Stavropol residents, students learned about the life of the city on June 22, 1941. Here the guys got acquainted with drawings and photographs, saw a radio receiver, popularly referred to as the “pan”, from which Stavropol heard the news of the invasion of the forces of Nazi Germany.

The exhibition is a tribute to the deep respect and gratitude to the participants of the war, who at the cost of their own lives defended our country and won the Victory together with all the people, won the world for future generations.

The visit to the exhibition “Battle Glory of Stavropol” became possible within the framework of cooperation between the museum of history of the university, the team of the department of philosophy and history with the department of military history and the patriotic work of the museum of local lore.
