The Faculty of Electricity was the organizer of the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference

The XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Physical and technical problems of creating new technologies in the agricultural sector" was held at the Faculty of Electric Power. Following the conference, a collection of scientific papers will be published with indexation in the Scopus citation database.

An introductory speech was made by the dean of the electric power department, associate professor Mastepanenko Maxim Alekseevich, who welcomed the guests and participants of the conference.

The following reports were presented at the plenary session:

· S.V. Oskin - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Electric Machines and Electric Drive, Professor of the Kuban State Agrarian University on the theme “Prospects for the introduction of electrical technologies in agricultural production”;

· V.A. Khalyutkin - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Physics of the Stavropol State Agrarian University on the theme “Prospects for the development of horizontal-axis and vertical-axis wind-driven power plants”;

· A.B. Ershov - Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Power Supply and Electrical Equipment Operation at the Stavropol State Agrarian University on the subject of "Quantum-mechanical approach as the main method for solving scientific problems of creating new technologies in the agricultural sector".

The moderators of the section “Power supply and alternative energy sources” were Sh.Zh. Gabrielyan, V.A. Khalyutkin. Presentations at the section were made by:

In total, 78 scientists and teachers representing four countries from eight scientific and educational institutions took part in the conference. On the margins of the conference, 36 reports were presented on contemporary issues of creating equipment for the agro-industrial complex and the production and processing of agricultural products.
