Employees of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Project Office Bobryshev A.N., Ph.D., Head of the Management Department Nazarenko AV, took part in the work of the second international scientific-practical conference “Digital transformation of agriculture " in Moscow. The conference was organized by the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) together with the Association of Internet Things Participants and the World Bank with the support of the Agriculture Ministry of the Russian Federation.
The conference participants discussed issues of increasing the efficiency of agricultural production in plant growing and animal husbandry, mechanisms and measures of state support to stimulate the introduction of digital technologies, as well as ways to organize online trading platforms to promote agricultural products.
The conference was attended by leaders of technology companies, enterprises of the agro-industrial complex, federal and regional AIC authorities, invited foreign experts, as well as representatives of educational organizations.
At present, a basis is being formed for the digital transformation of the branch directions of the Russian economy, including agriculture. The conference participants familiarized themselves with the experience of introducing digital technologies by Russian and foreign companies, discussed possible scenarios for digital transformation of agriculture, and considered the mechanisms of state incentives for agricultural producers to introduce digital farm management platforms (digital field, digital herd, digital logistics, etc.).
