Opening of the III International Festival “Student Spring of the BRICS and SCO Countries”

2.5 thousand people from 23 countries take part in the III International Festival “Student Spring of the BRICS and SCO Countries”, 1.5 thousand of which are winners of the XXVII All-Russian Festival “Russian Student Spring” - one of the projects of the “Russia is Country of Opportunities” . Also the special guests of the festival were the representatives of Austria, Georgia and Vietnam.

At the opening ceremony, a message from Russian President Vladimir Putin was read out by the plenipotentiary presidential envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, the Hero of Russia Alexander Anatolyevich Matovnikov.

Agrarian University has become one of the venues of the Festival. The headquarters of the International Student Spring is based in our university, and the new building of the University receives student leaders of the BRICS and SCO countries.

Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev, the Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences attended the opening ceremony among the honoured guests.

The festival will feature 7 directions: leadership and media, music, beauty, sports, education and art. A series of youth dialogues is also planned: Russian-Austrian, Russian-Georgian and Russian-Vietnamese. The festival will run until June 9.
