Opening of the summer labour semester for students of the Veterinary Medicine Faculty

Students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Technological Management as part of the student team “Aibolit” made a scientific and practical trip to the self-employed individual “Pchelopitomnik Stavropolsky” in Ipatovsky district to open a summer working semester.

Students under the leadership of the apiaries Balykova Anna Sergeyevna, Balykov Andrey Fedorovich and Associate Professor of the Department of Animal Feeding and General Biology Tatyana Sergeevna Lesnyak familiarized themselves with the technology of breeding bee families, preparing nucleuses for temporary keeping of bees, and also mastered the technology of pumping honey. For the work done, the students received a sweet reward in the form of first-pumped honey, which they received through their work.
