The Russian Association of Manufacturers of Specialized Machinery and Equipment "Rosspetsmash", uniting more than 156 enterprises and organizations in the field of agricultural, road-building machinery and food equipment, established the National Prize n.a. Alexander Alexandrovich Ezhevsky.
The deadline for submission of documents for the competition is from September 2 to September 20, 2019. Projects executed in accordance with the Regulations shall be submitted as an e-mail to: konkurs@rosspetsmash.ru
The prize will be awarded to students who have achieved high results in studies and scientific research, who are actively involved in the life of the university, who study full-time in institutions of higher professional education, in faculties related to the design of machines for agriculture.
The award ceremony will be held on November 3 - the birthday of A. A. Ezhevsky.
The competition is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

Alexander Alexandrovich Ezhevsky (03.11.1915–15.01.2017) - Soviet statesman, Minister of Tractor and Agricultural Engineering of the USSR (1980–1987). Hero of Socialist Labor, Commander of four orders of Lenin and two orders of the Red Banner of Labor. Irkutsk State Agrarian University is named after Alexander Alexandrovich Ezhevsky.
Under the leadership of A. A. Ezhevsky, the largest machine-building enterprises of the country, the Cheboksary, Lipetsk, Minsk, Vladimir, and Kishinev tractor plants were established. In recent years, he worked at the State Research Technological Institute for the repair and maintenance of tractors and agricultural machinery. The total working experience of A. A. Ezhevsky was over 85 years!
