The bank of students’ awards of Stavropol State Agrarian University was replenished with prize-winning places again.
The Wrestling Championship of Russia (grappling discipline) among students was held in Kursk. In the weight category up to 92 kg a student of the faculty of agrobiology and land resources Magomed Bagaudinov became the winner.
He has completed a large part of the fights ahead of schedule with a clear advantage. The athlete won a confident victory over the hosts of the championship in the final match. Following the results of these competitions the national team of Russia is completed for participation in the following stage – the World Wrestling Championship.
In parallel with competitions among students on the same discipline the Russian (master) tournament was carried out. Athletes from 20 regions of the Russian Federation took part in these competitions. Our student also won and fulfilled the standards of the Master of sports of Russia in this discipline.
We congratulate Magomed on the victory and wish him success in participation at the World Wrestling Championships.
