"University Expert — Academic Critic" portal made a rating of 695 Russian universities, where the Stavropol State Agrarian University became the best among Agricultural educational institutions.
For rating, the aggregate expert potential of universities was estimated, equal to the sum of expert assessments of all teachers and researchers affiliated with them. As a unit of measurement, the Hirsch index was taken, calculated for the entire set of scientific publications indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). This allows to get a balanced assessment of the professional recognition of each employee of the University.
General rankings were made by categories of universities: classical universities, technical, agricultural, medical, pedagogical, socio-economic, legal and humanitarian universities.
