The results of the international competition WorldSkills KAZAN 2019, which took place in Kazan from August 22 to 27, 2019, were summed up. Championship medals were awarded to 1354 contestants from 63 countries and regions, with 56 competencies.

Rapid prototyping is a complex technical competency. A specialist, in addition to the skills and knowledge of 3D CAD and CAM systems, including milling, printing and other types of processing, should be able to work in a single digital environment to create prototypes using CNC machines, additive technologies, tools and equipment.
The victory of a student at Stavropol State Agrarian University was made possible thanks to the training on the basis of the 3D prototyping center of Stavropol SAU "VECTOR".
Prototyping is often used in the product development process to give engineers and designers the opportunity to explore several solution options, test various theoretical concepts, as well as real features, before releasing a new product.
