Agricultural University again became the best

In the Leninsky district of the city of Stavropol, the winners of the contest “The Best Territory adjacent to the enterprise, institution” were determined. This traditional annual event is held to attract citizens to address the improvement and greening of the territory of the district, the development and support of social initiatives of residents, groups of enterprises, institutions and organizations, the disclosure of their creative potential.
For the eighth time, Stavropol State Agrarian University becomes the best in the Leninsky district. Participation in the competition allows students of Stavropol State Agrarian University - future masters of landscape design - and their mentors to demonstrate their talents and abilities. Thousands of square meters of beautiful university lawns and flower beds are created by the hands of employees of the university’s gardening department and the “fighters” of the “Ozelenitel” student group.
To create green “oases” in the urban environment, amazing ground grass, flower beds and unique topiary forms, Stavropol State Agrarian University uses its own production base of planting material.
In the greenhouses of Agrarian University annually grow more than 300 thousand copies of various flowers, and in the nursery of decorative cultures of the educational-experimental farm - tree-shrub saplings. It is important to note that the design of the adjacent territories is regularly updated and modified in accordance with the current season.
