The all-Russian seminar "Production of melons in the Russian Federation" was held in Grachevsky district of the Stavropol region, which gathered more than 300 melons and vegetable growers of the country. The venue has become a creative platform “Ponomarevs’ melons”.
Participants of the seminar discussed varieties of melons cultivated in the Stavropol region, scientific achievements in the field of breeding and seed production, production of melons, effective mineral nutrition and fertilizers, hybrids of watermelons, equipment for the cultivation of vegetables, innovative products and reclamation areas.
Participants were able to exchange views and share solutions to emerging problems in melons.
