The congress was held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, IDLP of the International Organization for Biological Control of Pest and Animal Hazards, and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Plant Protection Natalia Glazunova took part in the IV All-Russian Congress on Plant Protection with international participation “Phytosanitary technologies in ensuring the independence and competitiveness of the Russian agricultural sector”.
The congress was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Protection and was held in St. Petersburg from September 9 to 11, 2019. The congress brought together more than 500 experts and scientists from all over Russia, as well as specialists from the USA, Norway, Sweden, Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, to exchange knowledge and experience, to present the results of scientific research and discuss innovations in the field of plant protection in agriculture and organic farming.
Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Plant Protection Natalia Glazunova made a presentation at the congress “Protecting Winter Wheat from Dominant Pests in the South of Russia”
An exhibition “Modern Agrotechnologies in Intensive Plant Growing and Organic Agriculture” was organized for the Congress participants with the participation of leading manufacturers of plant protection products, agrochemicals, scientific equipment and other agricultural products and scientific research.
