The regional stage of the contest "UNNAT-2019"

In the new academic year, young naturalists from 12 to 18 years old from all territories of Stavropol presented the achievements of experimental work obtained at the training experimental and production sites of educational organizations in the following categories: “Agronomy”, “Plant Growing”, “Medicinal Plants”, “ Ornamental floriculture and landscape design ”,“ Personal subsidiary and apiary farming ”,“ Green technologies and startups ”,“ Engineering, automation and robotics ”,“ My choice of profession ”.

Associate Professor of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology Department Lobankova O.Yu. and Assistant Professor of General Agriculture, Crop Production and Breeding named after Professors F.I. Bobrysheva, Golub A.S. in the framework of joint activities under an agreement on creative cooperation with the Regional Center for Ecology, Tourism and Local History, took part in the jury of the annual regional stage of the All-Russian contest “Unnat”.

Director of the Center T.M. Zima, deputy Director N.N. Gaponova, addressing the contest participants, wished the guys optimism, victories, new achievements and discoveries.

The interests of young researchers are impressive in variety - the exhibition of works included: a bike cutter and a small-sized hydroponic installation, designed by students of the Krasnogvardeisky secondary school No. 12; layout of the landscape of the dinopark for the playground; bouquets of roses; herbaria; fresh and canned fruits; tomato with fruits grafted onto potatoes; loaf from the Levokumsky district, sheaves of winter wheat varieties transferred for variety study by Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Professor A.N. Esaulko to Pyatigorsk station of young people.

For 3 days of work, the jury, headed by the methodologist of the center N.I. Borisova, listened to and discussed more than 70 research papers and projects, striking a breadth of interests, painstaking work and depth of study. In this regard, the selection of winners who will represent the Stavropol Territory at the All-Russian competition was not easy.

This event is held by order of the Ministry of Education, contributes to the development of youth interest in agricultural labor, ecology, invention, provides an opportunity to present their work at national and international competitions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Korolev, Anapa and others.Many UNNAT members of previous years have now become students of our university.
