Teachers of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the educational intensiveness of U4Uonline SRU HSE

Employees of the Faculty of Economics of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the educational intensiveness of U4Uonline for network partners for the implementation of BlendedLearning using the online courses of the Higher School of Economics, which was held in Moscow at the Higher School of Economics. The educational intensive U4Uonline is part of the Higher School of Economics program to support regional universities, which the HSE announced in the spring of 2019. Representatives of more than 30 regional universities of Russia and neighboring countries took part in this event.

Participation in the program opens up a lot of opportunities for the university in the field of mastering digitalization algorithms of educational processes and technologies for creating online courses, as well as expanding networking with a leading university in the country.

During the intensive course, teachers were given the opportunity to develop blended learning technologies, master modern formats for teaching disciplines, and provide advisory support to leading experts.Intensive U4Uonline was held at the HSE training center in Voronovo for five days. Teachers Zvyagintseva Olga Sergeevna and Gruzkov Igor Vladimirovich took part in it as listeners of the Track "Methodology of teaching the discipline in the format of Blended Learning".

On the first day of the intensive session, the Rector of the Higher School of Economics Yaroslav Ivanovich Kuzminov addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, then Sergey Yuryevich Roshchin, Vice-Rector of the Higher School of Economics, gave a presentation “University Strategy in the Digital Economy”, as well as Evgenia Yuryevna Kulik, Director of Online Learning at the Higher School of Economics spoke about the goals, objectives and structure of educational intensiveness.

During September 11–13, employees of the FSBEI HE “Stavropol State Agrarian University” worked in special subgroups, divided by the principle of taught disciplines, where the author of the online course shared his practical experience in teaching the discipline in the Blended Learning format. Based on the results of the experience, teachers implement this learning format for students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University during the 2019-2020 academic year.

Also, everyone was invited to get acquainted with the studio recording online courses, and even try to record a video.

In addition to analyzing the practice of teaching disciplines in a mixed format, representatives of various universities shared their experience in implementing the online component in the educational process, as well as the problems of accompanying students in online courses. In addition, HSE experts conducted a number of seminars useful for teachers:- “Assessment in the format of blended learning”;- “Organization of exams with proctoring”;- “Models for incorporating an online course in educational programs.”On September 14, the defense of group and individual projects and the delivery of certificates took place. Based on the results of the intensiveness, each teacher developed his own seminar plan in the Blended Learning format for the discipline. In addition, the staff of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took the initiative and came up with the team's final project, “The Strategy for Digitalizing the University’s Educational Processes."Based on the results of participation in the educational intensity of U4Uonline, the staff of the Stavropol State Agrarian University received new competencies necessary to include the online component in the educational process, analyzed the problems and prospects of digitalization of the educational activities of their university, and also got acquainted with various practices of introducing online courses in the educational process of other universities.
