During the meeting, questions were raised about the implementation of projects for the construction and reconstruction of irrigation systems in 2019 as part of the subprogram “Development of Land Reclamation of Agricultural Land for Russia” and the federal project “Development of Export of Agricultural Products”. Also in the framework of the meeting, a project for the reconstruction of irrigation systems in 2020 was presented, which will be implemented with the participation of the LLC «Absolut» and «Yuzhstroyenergo».
In the regional Ministry of Agriculture, chaired by the Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Sitnikov, a meeting of the Council for the Development of Land Reclamation in the Stavropol Territory was held. The event was attended by the dean of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources and ecology and landscape architecture, professor, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Nikolaevich Yesaulko.
In his welcoming speech, the head of the agrarian department of the region Vladimir Sitnikov noted that the council on the development of the land reclamation complex of the region is very important and affects the interests of both local agricultural producers and the regional Ministry of Agriculture.
Currently, 23 projects are being implemented in the Stavropol Territory under the program "Development of Land Reclamation". An additional 160 million rubles have been allocated for this program. The total amount will be about 470 million rubles.
As a result of the meeting, new tasks for the development of land reclamation for 2020 were approved, and its participants agreed that further effective development of irrigation in the Stavropol Territory is possible only with a responsible and integrated approach from agricultural organizations, contractors, representatives of state expertise, as well as municipal and regional authorities.
