Students took part in the celebration of the Day of the city of Stavropol

Day of the city of Stavropol united all residents on different sites of the regional capital. Students of the Agrarian University could not pass by such a significant holiday.

In the regional center there were celebrations dedicated to the Day of the Stavropol Territory and the Day of the city of Stavropol. The official opening ceremony was held on Lenin Square.

Together with thousands of residents and guests of Stavropol participated in it:

- Stavropol Governor Vladimir Vladimirov,

- State Duma Deputy Olga Timofeeva,

- Speaker of the Regional Duma Gennady Yagubov,

- Head of the city of Stavropol Andrey Dzhatdoev,

- Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev.

The ceremony participants examined the exhibitions deployed on the square, representing the agro-industrial and industrial potential of the region.

Festival of Stavropol achievements "Stavropol steers!" united all the inhabitants of the region. In particular, a delegation of students from the Agrarian University took part in city events.

One of the bright and colorful events dedicated to the celebration of the City Day and the Day of the Territory was a flash mob –ceremony «Dedication to Students», which was held on the square of St. Prince Vladimir, and, despite the weather, gathered thousands of spectators.
