SSAU staff and students took part in the Young Wine Festival in Kislovodsk

Employees of the department of production and processing of food products from plant raw materials took part in the traditional regional festival "Young Wine". At the festival in Kislovodsk on Kurortny Boulevard, more than 30 local manufacturers presented their products - these are well-known regional enterprises and small farms. Producers brought this year's young wine, famous brands of wines, cognacs, and also presented late table varieties of amber berries.

Stavropol State Agrarian University at the festival presented the scientific and educational-methodical developments of the department of production and processing of food products from vegetable raw materials - educational and educational-methodological manuals on grape processing and production of wine products, young grape wine and cider received by students of the direction “Food from of vegetable raw materials ”as part of the work of the Young Winemaker club led by the department head Romanenko Elena Semenovna, associate professor Mironova Elena s Alekseevna and senior lecturer Miltyusov Vladimir Evgenievich, therapeutic and prophylactic drinks "Bio-Tonus", various types of distillates and 12 varieties of craft beer.

In addition to the traditional exhibition of the best examples of winemaking products of regional wineries and winemakers of the region, the festival guests were expected to have an extensive cultural program: a concert with performances by creative teams of the region and a food fair from the best agricultural and processing enterprises. The event was attended by 6 districts of Stavropol Territory, which presented their farmsteads.

Also at the event, a ceremony was held to award winemakers who made a significant contribution to the development of the industry. The governor of the region Vladimir Vladimirov talked with winemakers and congratulated the guests of the holiday.

The festival of young wine in Kislovodsk is held for the sixth time. Residents and tourists of Kislovodsk has already been fond of this bright, spectacular event. The holiday entered the top three wine festivals and holidays in Russia.
