Joint work of Stavropol scientists brought results

The use of biophysical methods in animal husbandry can increase the profitability of the industry by making more efficient use of the biological capabilities of animals. For this, scientists are constantly searching for new innovative solutions, in the process of such a search an invention has been made.

Employees of Stavropol State Agrarian University of the Electric Power Engineering Faculty associate professors: Mastepanenko M.A., Kopylova O.S., assistant Afanasyev M.A. and first-year Master’s students: Sergienko A.S., Fursov D.I., as well as a third-year student A. Labyntsev, together with scientists from the North Caucasian Federal Scientific Agrarian Center, a branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Sheep and Goat Breeding, received a patent for the invention “Machine for fixing small cattle”.

The objective of the invention is the development of a machine for fixing the barrel and head of an animal, reducing labor costs and improving the quality of measures taken when working with lambs.

The technical result boils down to high reliability, ease of fixation of the animal, reducing labor costs and improving the quality of measures for various types of veterinary treatments.
