On the basis of the Center for Innovative Technologies in Agriculture, Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, created with the support of the administration and LLC Agroholding Energomera, a training seminar for students and teachers on the program "Mobile Agronomist Place" was held.
The seminar was held by Alla Shirina, Head of the Production Process Department, a graduate of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, and a fourth-year student Nikita Myagkov, who works as an agricultural holding manager.
The program "Mobile place of an agronomist" is a modern program for keeping records in the agricultural business. The tracking system "Violon" allows you to track all the work in the fields and make timely decisions.
From the cloud, agronomists can download the planned work according to the technological map to a smartphone (or tablet), then, in the field, enter all the actual data, add the photo in off-line mode.
The farm map, field history, production plan, weather data, reports on the progress of work and the status of crops are collected in a single place and are available in a simple interface. Consultations with suppliers of seeds and plant protection products help to select the best technologies and increase profitability. Accurate mapping of fields allows you to clarify purchases of inventories, and timely response to problems reduces the risk of crop loss. As a result, the use of the system allows you to increase the profitability and value of assets.
Field agronomists need to collect operational agro-production data (based on the results of field surveys) and process them accurately with reporting, monitor the condition of fields and crops in accordance with approved technological instructions; analyze the received data; participate in the discussion of the information received and the setting of production tasks; to evaluate the quality of technological operations performed on the basis of approved standards, as well as to use and implement in everyday practice advanced knowledge and tools of agricultural science and practice.
The seminar was useful for students, as they gained new knowledge in the field of software for technological processes, and also got acquainted with the advanced technologies of agricultural production.
