Awarding the winners of the All-Russian contest among students of general educational institutions of rural settlements and small towns "AgroNTI-2019"

A year ago, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Association of Agrarian Universities of the Russian Federation “Agroobrazovanie” and the “Fund for the Promotion of Innovation” signed an agreement on holding the international contest “AgroNTI”. At their base, 9 specialized universities accepted young professionals ,including Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Schoolchildren from all over Russia were welcomed by:

· Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Maxim Iosifovich Uvaidov

· Advisor to the General Director of the Fund for the Promotion of the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Field, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Ivan Mikhailovich Bortnik

· Rector of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Stavropol State Agrarian University”, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Association of Agrarian Universities of the Russian Federation “Agroobrazovanie”, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Doctor of Economics, Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev

AgroNTI contestants fought for victory in four fields:

• Agrospace,

• Agrometeo,

• Agrocopters

• Agrorobots.

During the regional qualifying rounds, schoolchildren delved into complex issues, learned to control unmanned aerial vehicles, automated control systems for agricultural equipment, use satellite images and web technologies in agriculture, and learned to program the weather, create archives and analyze data.

Age group of 5-6 grades

-Asakeeva Kanykey Timurovna, Kemerovo region, the village-station Kamenny Klyuch

-Sherbakov Stepan Sergeevich, Vologda region, the city of Vologda

Age group of 7-8 grades

-Savchenko Karina Viktorovna, Novosibirsk region, worker village Maslyanino

Age group of 9-10 grades

-Vorobyev Ilya Andreevich, Vologda region, the village of Novlenskoye

-Mashtakov Dmitry Sergeevich, Volgograd region, the village of Dobrinka

At the official award ceremony, which took place as part of the Golden Autumn exhibition in Moscow, the winners received well-deserved prizes.

These guys are the future generation of specialists.

The Agro NTI competition is aimed at unlocking the creative potential of schoolchildren, and is designed for awareness when choosing a future profession.

In just a few years, these guys will actually contribute to the prosperity of our country. The future of Russia depends on the perseverance, hard work and creative research of youth. And it is in good hands!
