Within the framework of the 21st Russian agro-industrial exhibition "Golden autumn" JSC "Rosselkhozbank" held a series of events aimed at finding growth points in agriculture, directions of scientific and technological development of the industry and approaches to training new personnel.
The round table identified the main barriers and challenges of modern agricultural education in Russia. The experts discussed the mechanisms of interaction between business, universities and science, assessed the prospects for the use of innovative technologies in agriculture to maintain the competitiveness of agricultural products, both in the domestic market and to increase the export potential.
The report "Innovations and personnel – how to train an employee of the agro-industrial complex of the 21st century " was made by the Vice-rector for scientific and innovative work of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Vitaly Morozov.
The key issue for the discussion — how to train an employee of the agro-industrial complex of the XXI century - was comprehensively covered by the speakers-representatives of the Ministry of agriculture and the Ministry of education and science of Russia, leading universities and regions demonstrating visible success. Taking into account their views, bottlenecks and opportunities for expanding support measures and human capital development in rural areas were identified.
