As part of the network interaction agreement between the Stavropol State Agrarian University and St. Petersburg State University of Economics, a guest lecture “Life hacks from internal audit professionals of Rostelecom” was held.
The event was attended by associate professors of the department "Accounting Financial Accounting" Kulish N.V. and Sytnik O.E., first-year undergraduates of the master's programs "Management Accounting and Controlling", "Audit and Financial Consulting". Alexander Sergeyevich Akimov, project director of the internal audit unit of PJSC "Rostelecom", talked online with teachers and undergraduates. He shared his experience as an internal auditor in one of the largest Russian companies and gave practical advice on choosing a topic for scientific research.
Alexander Sergeevich emphasized that the profession of an internal auditor today is one of the most sought-after in the labor market both in our country and abroad. The main task of internal auditors, in his opinion, is the impact on business performance, its financial results.In addition to undergraduates of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, representatives of such universities of Russia and neighboring countries as the Brest State Technical University, Perm State SRU, Polessky State University took part in the meeting.
The topic raised by A. Akimov caused a lot of interesting questions from the participants of the webinar. This once again convinces us that the chosen format of communication between young researchers and high-level professionals is very useful and motivates us to move forward towards achieving our goals.
