At the Stavropol State Agrarian University, a program is being implemented to train citizens of pre-retirement age. In October, students completed the “Landscape Design” program, which was organized by employees of the Institute for Continuing Professional Education.
The program was developed by Oleg Yuryevich Gudiev, associate professor of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction, with the aim of creating new professional competencies for students in professional activities in the field of landscape architecture.
During the three months of training at the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture, students studied decorative dendrology, the history of landscape gardening, information technology in landscape design, landscape design, the construction and maintenance of landscape architecture, and landscaping.
The training ended with an interdisciplinary exam, with which the participants of the training coped with “good” and “excellent”. The students were awarded diplomas of professional retraining with the qualification of "Landscape Designer" with the right to conduct professional activities in the field of landscape architecture.
