The competition was held in distance in two stages. The first stage is at the level of regional commissions, the second stage is at the level of the central competitive commission for awarding scholarships to the V.I.Vernandsky Fund in Moscow. The selection took place at the bases of 22 higher educational institutions, 175 applicants from 60 higher schools of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as from Ecuador and Iran took part in it.
In the competition of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral scholarships of the V.I. Vernadsky Fund for the 2019-2020 academic year, winners were determined, among them 3-year students of the Ecology and Nature Management direction - Tatyana Orekhova and Irina Postnikova.
The scholarship program is one of the stages of the educational system of the Fund, the purpose of which is to encourage research activities of applicants in the field of sustainable development, stimulate practical solutions to specific problems in the field of environmental education, environmental culture and current issues of development and improvement of the fuel and energy complex of Russia.
According to the selection results, our students showed good results, confirmed the high level of their scientific activity.
