Continuing Education Course

At the Department of Soil Science named after Professor V.I. Tyulpanova underwent further training on the additional professional program "Sampling, Sample Preparation and Soil Analysis", which was attended by a leading engineer in the specialty "Chemical Technology of Oil and Gas Processing" at LLC Stavralen Chernysheva Irina Vladimirovna and a laboratory assistant of the 5th category Olga Livrenko.

During the training, the participants got acquainted with the main soils of Russia, presented at the department and with the laboratory “By determining the quality indicators of soils, greenhouse soils and fertilizers”, as well as with the laboratory equipment, among which: ZEEnit-700 atomic absorption spectrometer, pH meter / EXPERT-001-1 (0.1) ionomer, PFA-378 flame photometer, Spekol-11 spectrophotometer, etc. On October 21, we studied a comparative analysis of meteorological conditions of a particular year with the climatic norm, when assessing the heat and moisture supply of agricultural cultures.

We also learned the taxonomy and general principles for the classification of soils in the Budyonnovsky district surrounding the enterprise LLC Stavrolen. The training participants studied the sampling technique for agrochemical and soil examination, in addition, the process of soil preparation for analysis was studied. In the study of various laboratory analysis techniques, the method for determining heavy metals in soil was mastered. An analysis was carried out for the content of heavy metals: acid-soluble forms, mobile forms and gross forms. On October 23, the steps were studied within the laboratory and external control of soil analysis. Learned the time standards for soil analysis.

According to the results of the Continuing Education Course a test was taken.
