XIV International Scientific Conference "Accounting, Auditing and Analysis: History, Modernity and Development Prospects"

Teachers of the Department of Accounting Financial Accounting and students of the Economics training field took part in the XIV international scientific conference “Accounting, Analysis and Audit: History, Modernity and Development Prospects”, which took place on-line as part of a network interaction agreement with St. Petersburg State University of Economics.

The conference was organized by Natalia Alexandrovna Kamorzhanova, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Internal Control and Audit, St. Petersburg State University of Economics.

The event was attended by representatives of 25 Russian and foreign universities.

The vice-rector for academic and methodological work, doctor of economic sciences, professor Veronika Georgievna Shubaeva addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

Presentations on relevant topics for the accounting community were made by leading scientists from Russia and neighboring countries:

Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented by Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Financial Accounting Alexander Vitalievich Frolov. His presentation on “The nature and content of environmental auditing in the implementation of international and Russian environmental and economic activities in market conditions” caused a lively discussion.

Holding such events gives teachers the opportunity to present their scientific research to the professional community, which, of course, contributes to their personal growth and the development of professional competencies. Students, in turn, receive new knowledge that broadens their horizons, contributing to a manifestation of interest in research activities.
