Great ethnographic dictation took place in the Stavropol State Agrarian University

The international educational campaign “The Great Ethnographic Dictation” was held in all subjects of Russia and abroad. The action is dedicated to the Day of National Unity. In Russia, a large-scale campaign has been held for the fourth year in a row. This year, Dictation took place at our university.

The dictation will make it possible to assess the level of ethnographic literacy of the population, their knowledge of the peoples living in Russia. In the Stavropol State Agrarian University, over 50 people sat at their desks.

The tasks of the dictation consisted of 30 questions: 20 questions - common to all and 10 regional, unique to each subject. Participants are given 45 minutes to write a dictation. The maximum score for completing all tasks is 100.

The organizers of the “Great Ethnographic Dictation” are the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs and the Ministry of National Policy of the Udmurt Republic. The partner of the Dictation is the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, compatriots living abroad, and international humanitarian cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).

The results of the dictation will be announced on Constitution Day of the Russian Federation on December 12, 2019.
