Seminar "Development of the agricultural cooperation system in the Stavropol Territory"

A seminar was held on the basis of Stavropol State Agrarian University on the development of agricultural cooperation in the Stavropol Territory.

The meeting was attended by participants from 13 districts and districts of the region, including representatives of municipalities, peasant farms and private farms, production and consumer cooperatives.

Seminar participants were welcomed by:

• First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory - Sergey Alexandrovich Izmalkov;

• Director of the State Public Institution Stavropol Agricultural Information and Consulting Center - Olesya Alexandrovna Popovskaya;

• Director of the Institute for Continuing Education of the Stavropol State Agrarian University - Olga Mikhailovna Lisova.

The topic for discussion was the development of agricultural cooperation in the region, aimed at increasing profitability in the countryside, the mechanisms for growing private farms to the level of farmers and the possibility of their cooperation.

The seminar participants discussed a wide range of issues, including the latest trends in the industry, the demanded measures of state and credit support, as well as the legal framework for creating agricultural consumer cooperatives.

Then there were master classes on the topics of accounting, the choice of a tax system and business planning of an agricultural cooperative.

At the end of the meeting, all participants were awarded certificates, as well as teaching materials for the seminar.
