Students of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance with Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Management and Banking E.A. Ostapenko took part in the seminar “Financial Instruments for Business Development”, which took place in Stavropol Territory branch of the Southern Main Directorate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
The purpose of the seminar is to explain to representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises the possibilities of using modern financial instruments to develop their business.
The event included discussions on the following topics:
how to attract money to launch a project, what tools to use at different stages of development of your business;
instruments of state support for small business;
microfinance for small businesses, warranty support;
Industrial Fund (FRP) programs for small businesses;
what requirements do banks have for business when deciding on a loan and how to meet them;
how does business rehabilitation happen if a bank account is blocked;
modern banking technologies for business;
opportunities for small businesses to buy currency on the stock exchange and hedge currency risks.
The participants in the seminar were small and medium-sized businesses who are trying to develop their business or just plan to open it.
The seminar ended with an open dialogue and information exchange between representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises.
