The Department of Philosophy and History held a solemn event dedicated to the training of the 7th intake of students at the Young Politician school. 35 students of some faculties of the university and the faculty of secondary vocational education have become new students in the school "Young Politician".
The organizational meeting was conducted by the head of the Young Politician school, associate professor of the Department of Philosophy and History Guzynin N.G. With welcoming words, the students wee addressed by the deputy director of the Institute of Additional Vocational Education Assoc. prof. Pankratov A.V., prof. of the Department of Philosophy and History Gulyak I.I., Assoc. prof. of the department of philosophy and history Kurchev V.I.
All speakers congratulated the students of the Young Politician school on the start of classes in an unusual political field for them. All speakers indicated that classes at the Young Politician school will be aimed at improving the political culture of students and their activity in the political life of Stavropol Territory, in election campaigns, in the activities of public organizations, political parties, and volunteer movements. It was emphasized that students of the Young Politician school after graduation will not necessarily become politicians, but the knowledge and skills acquired by them will help them to continue to maintain a genuine interest in politics and an active civic life.
