The Southern Federal District Powerlifting Championship was held on the basis of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, where 94 athletes from different parts of the country took part.
Athletes from Abkhazia, the Chechen Republic, Krasnodar Territory, Rostov Region, Astrakhan and Stavropol Territory gathered at the Agrarian University to compete for the champion title.
The places in the team classification were as follows:
• 1st place - Stavropol State Agrarian University;
• 2nd place - the national team from Abkhazia;
• 3rd place - athletes from the Chechen Republic.
Judicial certificates of judges of the regional category were also presented to Ivan Masalov and Danil Pavlyuchenko, and Georgy Kolesnichenko received the certificate of the Master of Sports of Russia.
