On behalf of the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Maxim Uvaidov introduced to the staff of the Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev new leader. Acting Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Trukhachev was appointed Acting Rector of the educational institution by order of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev has extensive management experience in the field of education - since 1999 he worked as rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
“Twenty-one years ago, when I assumed the post of rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, we faced difficult, ambitious tasks. I am very glad that over two decades we have managed to unite a huge work team, to consolidate the work of teachers, students, graduate students and undergraduates. The world is on the verge of a new technological revolution, all spheres of production are changing. We must comply with the trends of modernization. Ahead there are many questions and plans for the development of agriculture. I am ready to continue to work for the growth and prosperity of the country's agro-industrial complex, ”said Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor V. I. Trukhachev.
In 1977, Vladimir Trukhachev graduated from the Stavropol Agricultural Institute. He worked as a senior veterinarian at a large agricultural enterprise in Nevinnomyssk. In 1986 he became chairman of the collective farm. Later he held various positions in the administration of the Grachevsky district of the Stavropol Territory.
Vladimir Trukhachev, Doctor of Agricultural and Economic Sciences, has a number of honorary titles: Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation (2008), Honored Worker of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Russia (2010), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the Russian Federation (2010) and many others.
The work of Vladimir Trukhachev has been repeatedly awarded state awards. He was awarded the medal of the Order for Merit to the Fatherland, II degree (1999), the Order of Friendship (2000), and the Certificate of Merit of the President of the Russian Federation “For achieved labor successes, many years of conscientious work and active social work” (2015).
