A meeting of the regional commission was held at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory on the topic: “Results of the state variety testing of varieties and hybrids of agricultural crops in the Stavropol Territory in 2019, development of proposals for their inclusion in the State Register of selection achievements approved for use in the 6th North Caucasus the region and in the recommendations on the Stavropol Territory for 2020".
It was attended by employees of branches of the FSBI "State Variety Commission", representatives of leading breeding centers in Russia, heads of regional agricultural departments of the Stavropol Territory, representatives of leading manufacturing enterprises, as well as Alexander Nikolaevich Esaulko, Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
The opening remarks were made by the head of the plant growing department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory E.A. Tambovtseva.
On the status and results of activities in 2019, the State Variety Commission of the Stavropol Territory was reported by the head of the branch of the FSBI State Variety Commission in the Stavropol Territory E.A. Batagova.
Further, a report on the topic “Results of the state test of varieties and hybrids of agricultural crops in 2019 and proposals for changing the varietal composition in the State Register and in recommendations for the region in 2020” was made by the leading agronomist of the FSBI “State Variety Commission” branch Fadeeva O.B.
