Syngenta Students Scholarship Program 2020 Open!

At the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of Stavropol State Agrarian University, a meeting of 2nd and 3rd year students with representatives of Syngenta LLC took place.

The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Nikolaevich Yesaulko, who emphasized the connection between science and production as an integral part of the effective training of qualified personnel, and the Syngenta company is one of the long-standing strategic partners of an agricultural university.

During a heuristic conversation, the head of the technical experts of the South region, Dmitry Yuryevich Borodin, told students about the Syngenta company and the scholarship program of the company called Syngenta Students.

The company has been implementing this project in Russia since 2007, which allows the most talented and motivated students studying “excellent” and “good” to undergo technological practice on the basis of the Separate Division of Syngenta LLC, Stavropol.

Within four months, they will be able to get acquainted with the business processes of the leading agribusiness company, study the range of plant protection products, take an active part in laying and conducting field experiments and laboratory research of the company, which will form the basis of the future graduate qualification work, and receive a company scholarship “Syngenta ”, gain experience in the team and take a step towards your career.

Today, the company Syngenta LLC is one of the market leading chemical plant protection products. The company offers not only a wide range of seeds of key field crops in the Russian region - sunflower, corn, sugar beets, rape, but also a wide range of plant protection products, and also provides comprehensive professional protection programs to agricultural producers.

The scholarship program of students of the company "Syngenta" has existed for 12 years and more than 50 students of agricultural universities of the country, including Stavropol State Agrarian University, became its participants. In 2019, students of Likhodey Ivan, Salkova Julia, Gaydamakin Aleksey, Moysa Andrey and Kuzenaya Ksenia underwent technological practice at Syngenta. Students showed good knowledge and high qualifications in the field of agronomy, which indicates a high level of training at our university.
