An open lecture was organized for students at the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources in the framework of the additional general educational program “Use of Intensive Technologies in the Application of Fertilizers in the Precision Agriculture System”. The speaker was the acting head of the branch of the FSBI Russian Agricultural Center in the Stavropol Territory Andrei Yurievich Oleinikov.
Andrei Yurievich Oleinikov talked about how acute the issue of increasing soil fertility and the preservation of agricultural land is, what role monitoring of soil fertility plays in this issue, and in what key areas it is being implemented. Students were introduced to the dynamics of the agrochemical state of soils in the Stavropol Territory. Andrei Yurievich also paid attention to the issues of the content of organic matter, micro and macro elements in soils of various farms.
As a result of the lecture, students asked questions to which they received clear answers and examples of solving production problems. Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Nikolaevich Yesaulko thanked Andrei Yurievich for a productive meeting and expressed hope for further cooperation.
