Additional professional training program "International experience in the development of the agro-industrial complex in the conditions of the Eurasian Economic Union"

The faculty of the department “Financial Management and Banking” conducted an additional professional continuing education program on the topic: “International experience in the development of the agro-industrial complex in the conditions of the Eurasian Economic Union”, teachers of the Department of Economics at the Kazakh Agro Technical University Saken Seyfullin (Republic of Kazakhstan).

The international online seminar was held within the framework of the University “Boiling Point” of Stavropol State Agrarian University, on the platform Leader-ID.ru., The number of registered participants is 26 people. The aim of the program was to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field of international experience in the development of the agro-industrial complex in the conditions of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The event was opened by the head of the Department of Financial Management and Banking of SSAU, Professor Julia Mikhailovna Sklyarova, with a welcoming speech were made by Professor Irina Taranova, as well as associate professor, head. Department of "Economics" of the Kazakh Agro Technical University named after S. Seyfullin Akmolar Bolatovna Temirova.

The speakers of the Russian side were the Regional Manager of the department for working with clients of small and medium of the business of the Stavropol branch of Rosselkhozbank JSC Vera Bibik with a report on the topic: “Rosselkhozbank: comprehensive customer service for foreign economic activity and the development of agricultural exports”.

Vera Ivanovna in her report outlined the principles of constructing regulatory legal acts governing import-export operations on the international agricultural market; considered the main forms of financing of import-export operations of the agro-industrial complex in international markets; substantiation of the choice of instruments for financing import and export operations;

application of foreign investment assessment, accounting for currency and political risks; study of risks and ways to protect against them in the banking sector.

As part of the continuing education program, an exchange of developments by leading experts in various fields of knowledge on economic problems took place.

The agenda of the online seminar touched upon the following discussion issues: the countries of the European Economic Union have significant potential for the formation of the agricultural market, food security and sustainable rural development; key indicators of agricultural production indicate the need for joint measures to increase the production of competitive agricultural products in order to meet the needs of the common agricultural market and increase agricultural exports.

During the discussion, the participants of the event expanded the horizons of their knowledge, exchanged experiences and expressed a desire to continue meetings in this format.
