University Open Subject Olympiad in Logistics

A university open subject logistics Olympiad was organized by the Department of Management and Management Technologies. The Olympiad is aimed at improving the educational work with students in order to improve the quality of bachelor training and the development of professional competencies.

Developers and presenters of the Olympiad were Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Inna Semko and Ph.D., Associate Professor Larisa Anatolyevna Altukhova.

The Olympiad took place in three stages. Forty students took part in the first round. Testing took place online using the Mentimeter survey system. Based on the test results, 15 participants entered the second round (solving logistic problems). At that time, when the participants of the second stage were solving problems, a game was held with the audience, consisting in solving logistic puzzles. Two players were awarded diplomas in the nomination "The most erudite fan".

The third round, which was attended by 6 participants, was held in the format of the simulation business game "Building lean manufacturing." The work of the participants performing the tasks of the game was evaluated by a competent jury: Doctor of Economics, Professor Andrei Nikolaevich Baidakov, Ph.D., Associate Professor Diana Sergeevna Kenina, Ph.D., Associate Professor Dmitry Vasilyevich Zaporozhets, Ph.D. Associate Professor, Marina V. Korshikova.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the winners are:

I place - Anastasia Panikidi, 3rd year student of the training direction “Economics of enterprises and organizations”

II place - Victoria Gomanyuk, 1st year student of the “Service” training

III place - Maria Shiryaeva, 4-year student of the Management training course
