Faculties of agrobiology and land resources and ecology and landscape architecture held an annual parent meeting of first-year students

In the new building of Stavropol State Agrarian University, the departments of agrobiology and land resources and ecology and landscape architecture held an annual parent meeting for first-year student parents. Parents of the most prominent, reputable students for the first semester of study with talented, responsible and creative students were awarded letters of appreciation from the hands of the university management.

Welcoming speeches were addressed by the acting rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov.

In his speech, the dean of the faculties, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Nikolaevich Esaulko, outlined the general picture and the purpose of the parent meeting. He spoke about the problems during the training period, about the results of the educational commission, about the upcoming first session, about the negative and positive consequences of training. He spoke about the diverse involvement of students in public, university and city life through meetings during the discipline "Introduction to the profession" with important guests: with representatives of the clergy; outstanding graduates of faculties who have reached good career heights; with representatives of law enforcement agencies and medical institutions.

Alexander Nikolaevich outlined the prospects in the field of second higher education on the basis of our university, international professional internships and successful completion of training, and as a result, the prospect of receiving all kinds of scholarships and experience in international production practices. Wishing good luck, good and all the best, he called on the senior curators: Elena Semenovna Romanenko, Head of the Department for the Production and Processing of Food Products from Plant Raw Materials, and Yulia Aleksandrovna Bezgina, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Plant Protection.

In their speech, they reinforced the words of the leader about the importance of paying parental attention to problems of academic failure. They presented a report on the cultural events of 1st year students and sightseeing tours with curators to introduce to students the environment of the city of Stavropol, the overall development and sports achievements of the course and their life in the status of students.

Valentina Anatolyevna Ivashova, Head of the Consumer Expectations Monitoring Department, Strategic Development and Project Management Department, presented the results of the questionnaire on the adaptation of the first-year students of SSAU to study at a university.

Ahead of the students, the first test awaits - the examination session, and therefore the meeting was attended by leading teachers of the studied disciplines: Shibaev V.P., Litvin D.B., Kuzmenko I.P., Kravchenko I.N. and Shmatko O.N.

The first-year students Leonidova Angelina, Kochetova Ksenia, Ryazantseva Nika and Chernov Maksim completed the event with a colorful concert program.
