The forum “Social Entrepreneurship” was held as part of the national project to support small and medium-sized enterprises “My Business”. The forum is organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Stavropol Territory.
Employees of the Department of Entrepreneurship and the World Economy Alexander Vladimirovich Tenishchev, Natalya Nikolaevna Telnova, Elena Georgievna Pupynina, Svetlana Sergeevna Vaitsekhovskaya and students of the Faculty of Economics took part in discussion platforms and master classes from well-known practitioners of social entrepreneurship.
The key topics of the forum were devoted to entrepreneurship in the field of preschool and school education, technologies for finding personnel for socially oriented enterprises, success stories of social entrepreneurs, and measures to support social entrepreneurship.
The Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Zhanna Borisovna Ustimenko, noted that the essence of social entrepreneurship, and at the same time its main difference from classical commerce, is its focus: if ordinary business is primarily aimed at making profit with subsequent distribution between shareholders, management and employees of the enterprise, as well as with partial refinancing, the paramount task of social entrepreneurship is to fulfill a certain mission, which is useful for society.
Local businessmen shared the experience of social business development - Mirzaeva Elvira, Kseniya Krasnikova and Oksana Romanenko. The event discussed social franchises, opportunities and prospects of social entrepreneurship, which is called not only the engine of the economy, but also the transformer of society.
