The 100th anniversary of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers of Russia was celebrated in the Ministry of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory

A solemn event was held in the regional Ministry of Agriculture dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the trade union of agricultural workers of the Russian Federation. The agricultural workers union is one of the oldest in Russia. Its history began in 1919. The history of Stavropol regional organization of the trade union of workers of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation began with the creation of a professional union of land and forest workers in 1920.

The solemn event, which took place in the regional Ministry of Agriculture, was attended by:

· Chairman of Stavropol Territory Organization of the Trade Union Sergey Marnopolsky,

· Minister of Agriculture of the Territory Vladimir Sitnikov,

· Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Stavropol Tatyana Chichina,

· Coordinator of the federal party project "Russian Village" in Stavropol territory, deputy of the regional Duma Anatoly Zhdanov,

· Acting Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor Ivan Atanov,

leaders, chairmen of municipal districts (urban districts), district, city and primary organizations of the Trade Union of workers of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation.

- On behalf of the Governor of Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov, let me congratulate you on this anniversary. The trade union movement is the basis of the security of our country, the history of its development, as well as the entire agro-industrial complex. And today's slogan “a man who works must live with dignity” is a slogan for all time. I am grateful to you that the trade union movement has always defended the interests of our village,”said Vladimir Sitnikov, Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory.

On the day of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the trade union of workers of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, special words of gratitude were said to the veterans of the trade union movement who were present in the hall for their many years of work in establishing the trade union movement and protecting the social and labor rights and guarantees of union members. The event ended with a festive concert.
