The Russian Guard met with students of the Agrarian University

In order to popularize the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, a meeting of representatives of the regional Directorate of Rosguard with students was held at Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Colonel Vasily Barinov, Deputy Head of the Department of the Russian Guard for Stavropol Territory, and Major of Police Denis Snegirev, Head of the Press Service of the Territorial Authority, addressed the students and the teaching staff of the economic and accounting and financial departments of the Agrarian University.

Representatives of the department told students about the stages of the formation of the department, the tasks and the role of the federal service in ensuring public safety of the state and its protection from internal threats.

“The Rosguard is an executive body, which is a well-coordinated law enforcement structure that is able to efficiently and effectively fulfill the tasks of ensuring public safety, protecting the rights and freedoms of Russian citizens,” Colonel Vasily Barinov, deputy chief of the territorial body, emphasized in his speech.

During the meeting, the head of the press service, Police Major Denis Snegirev, showed the young people a presentation film about the territorial body of the Russian Guard and spoke about the participation of structural units in ensuring the safety of international events in the cities of Stavropol, Essentuki and Zheleznovodsk.

“The employees of special units of the regional Directorate of the Russian Guard have carried out work to ensure enhanced security measures during the preparation and conduct of large-scale events with a mass presence of the population, including those of international importance. This is the PyroFivePeaks 2019 pyrotechnic art championship, the Hero and Time film festival, as well as the III international festival “Student Spring of the BRICS and SCO countries,” said Denis Snegirev.

At the end of the event, officers answered students' questions and explained the procedure for entering the service. The university staff, in turn, thanked the Rosguard for an interesting and informative dialogue. Students wished the representatives of the department easy working days and short business trips.
