45 years ago, a faculty of electrification and automation of agriculture was created on the basis of the university. A festive concert was organized in the new building of the Agrarian University in honor of the anniversary of the faculty. Among the guests of honor there were university management, faculty, honorary professors, students, strategic partners of the faculty and its successful graduates.
Welcoming congratulations to all the guests of the holiday were said by the acting rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov.
Among the guests of honor, eminent graduates of the Electric Power Department there were the Chairman of Stavropol Regional Duma Gennady Vladimirovich Yagubov.
On the stage with creative congratulations there performed the teams of the university.
The Faculty of Electric Power Engineering today: it is 2500 sq. m of study and laboratory area, 33 laboratories, 4 chairs, 45 departments, 7 ongoing programs of higher and secondary vocational education (bachelor's, master's, secondary vocational education), 1100 students, 47 research and teaching staff, 93% with academic degrees and titles - all this is the result of the painstaking work of the teaching staff and the students themselves.
Honorary professors of the faculty and current teachers were awarded commemorative medals.
