A master class on creating a tactile book for blind and visually impaired children was held on the basis of the Stavropol state agrarian University, as part of a grant project of a 2 - year master student of the faculty of agricultural mechanization - Inna Kuliyeva. The master class was attended by invited students of the 5th grade of school No. 21 in Stavropol. The second master class was held by volunteers with pupils of the 7th grade of Lyceum No. 35.

Creating tactile books is part of the grant project " what are clouds like?". Volunteer students who have learned how to create books are now teaching this difficult task to their younger friends.

Participants of the master class, students of school No. 21 made the basis of the book from the series "birth of a butterfly". Many children only learned to sew during their work, but the joint work and the help of the organizers helped not only to master the basics of sewing, but also to create pages and a bright cover of a new book.

Under the guidance of volunteers, students of Lyceum No. 35 first learned about the existence of tactile literature and produced a book "what are clouds like?", which included items resembling the outline of a cloud.

Now, after completion, the books will be donated to the library for the blind and visually named after V. Mayakovsky (Stavropol) and its branches. The project is held at the expense of grant funds from The V. Potanin charitable Foundation.
