The Spartakiad among the staff of Stavropol State Agrarian University began

The XX sports contest among employees of Stavropol State Agrarian University began at the University’s fitness center. The purpose of this sports day is the development of mass physical culture, sports, the formation of a healthy lifestyle and the strengthening of the health of university employees, as well as increasing the interest of teachers of all ages in participating in sports events and identifying the best teams for sports and fitness activities.

The first sport in the sports day was shooting, where the places were distributed as follows:

I place Accounting and Finance Faculty;

II place Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Ecology and Landscape Architecture;

III place Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Technology Management;

IV place Faculty of Mechanization of Agriculture;

V place Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education;

VI place Faculty of Economics;

VII place Power Engineering Faculty;

VIII place Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism. 

In the individual competition among men, the awards were won by:

Gold: Yuriy Sergeyevich Skripnichenko– Associate Professor, Department of Economic Security, Statistics and Econometrics;

Silver was shared: Valery Sergeyevich Tskhovrebov– head of the Soil Science Department named after V.I. Tyulpanov, Professor, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences and Evgeny Valerievich Golosnoy– Head of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology, Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor.

Bronze: Dmitry Ivanovich Gritsay - Head of the Department of Machines and Technologies of the Agro-Industrial Complex, Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor.

In the individual competition among women, awards were won by:

Gold: Elena Ivanovna Kostyukova– Professor, Dean of the Accounting and Finance Faculty;

Silver: Tatyana Sergeevna Lesnyak– Senior Lecturer, Department of Animal Feeding and General Biology;

Bronze was divided: Irina Vladimirovna Samoilenko - Deputy Dean for International Activities, Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor and Nina Stefanovna Chukhlebova– Assistant Professor of General and Reclamation Agriculture, Department of Crop Production and Selection, Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences.
