Students of the Faculty of Economics, preparation area “Economics”, preparation profiles “World Economy” and “Economics of Enterprises and Organizations”, under the guidance of associate professors of the Department of Entrepreneurship and World Economy N.V. Vorobyeva and N.N. Telnova, visited the potential employer “Monocrystal” LLC.The company was represented by Artem Aleksandrovich Slyadnev, Deputy Director for Sales of New Projects.
During the tour, Artem Aleksandrovich introduced students to a unique production system in combination with the most advanced equipment and technologies in the field of sapphire production, which set the pace for the entire world of sapphire consumption industry, largely determining its future. Artem Alexandrovich spoke about the international activity of the company "Monocrystal": export-import supplies to foreign countries, features of the negotiation process, as well as about cooperation with foreign companies.
The representative of the organization focused on the interaction of the company with the university in the framework of strategic cooperation, the provision of internships for students with their further employment. He stressed that international business faces the greatest risk - a lack of talented and highly qualified employees in the field of foreign economic and foreign trade activities, and Stavropol State Agrarian University is one of the main universities, on which Monocrystal focuses on the selection of future personnel. Particular emphasis was placed on knowledge of a foreign language, because thanks to it, a specialist is considered exclusive and competitive.
Students actively participated in the conversation with Artem Alexandrovich, noted new and important information for themselves, asked questions and received detailed answers to them.
